Get Julie to MD Anderson

My name is Michelle Oglesby-Stengel. The same week my mom was getting news that 6 months after being diagnosed with breast cancer she was cancer free, my older sister was being diagnosed with breast cancer. Julie Oglesby-Butler has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Inflammatory Breast Cancer. She had one positive lymph node. Julie has Missouri Medica (Obamacare). They will not pay for any medical care out of state. It’s been a fast and furious couple of weeks for her. She had to immediately start chemotherapy to try to stop the spread and shrink the cancer enough to make it operable. This is a very aggressive rare form of breast cancer. MD Anderson is one of 3 clinics in the United States that specializes in IBC. They need $30,000 down to give her a second opinion and make sure she is on the best treatment for her diagnosis. The family can come up with some of it and pay for all travel expenses. She is already out several thousand dollars to Mercy Hospital in just a few short weeks. Her insurance doesn’t pay well for the 4 chemotherapy treatments she just started and the hospital is working on getting copay cards to help ease the high price. Please help us get her to MD Anderson in Texas.
