Get Kaleena back on her feet -stay strong!

Hi , My name is Desiree and I’m raising funds for my sister while she goes through treatment for metastasized adenocarcinoma , Cancer.

 

Kaleena recently spent over a week in the hospital at Ridge Meadows after going in for back and stomach pain. The doctors originally found a blood clot which lead them to put her on blood thinners through IV. They also started investigating possible causes for her pain, to which they were very uncertain.

They did multiple scans and a biopsy and discharged her end of last week , June 3 .

 

Monday June 6th, her family doctor called with results from the biopsy. Today they told my sister she has metastasized adenocarcinoma.

 

Kaleena will be sent to the Abbotsford Cancer Facility to undergo further testing and treatment care.

 

At this point , information will continually be updated for what’s to come.

 

Kaleena has a 12 year old daughter , who will be staying busy with sports and extra curricular activities to stay as normal as possible. Throughout the summer , my sister does not have a contract for work and will not be doing her extra work during this time. She will be heavily relying on EI medical and support from our community.
