Get Katie to a Specialist!

This is Kate. She is the daughter of Chad and Kelda (Roskam) Mitchell and David Miller. She graduated from Cache High in 2020. She loves the Lord and would tell you to pray! Our sweet Katie has been diagnosed with Down Syndrome Disintegrative Disorder (DSDD). This diagnosis can be compared to early onset dementia. It is an extremely rare diagnosis, so treatment and care protocol is not fully understood. DSDD is attacking and changing the sweet Katie we know and love. It is so very heartbreaking to witness Katie fight this unseen and terrifying enemy. The doctors at OU have now decided that Katie needs specialized care from doctors who have more experience with this disorder. Those who have been in charge of her care are in talks to send Katie and Kelda to either the east coast or the west coast to receive more specialized care. Kelda and Katie will need monetary support to help pay for travels, medical, and other day to day needs. Please consider donating to help us get Katie to a specialist, and please pray. Please pray.
