“Update, Operation Rescue Kim”

Kim is continuing to work hard at therapy and her goal is “to walk the flying pig.” A good friend of hers is taking the greyhound cross country to bring home her belongings and her car. Karen and I are planning to fly out November 29th to hopefully bring her home. One of our main obstacles has been transferring her Washington state Medicaid to Ohio Medicaid. Many facilities will not agree to take her unless her Ohio Medicaid is already approved and “not pending.” The problem is, it is hard to predict when this will happen. Multiple people are on the consulting team including Karen Strasser, Starla Schwing, Sue Tasset, Beth Burg and Robin Elliott. With 2 social workers, two nurses and an economics entrepreneur, she couldn’t have a better team. Thanks for all the donations!
