Get Lil Bit Cafe Rolling again

August 31, 2020, was the day my heart broke because we had to close the doors of the café. It was started to help revitalize the Blvd District in our Community of Kenmore in Akron Ohio. We helped train women who finished the culinary portion of the J.O.B.S program (Jump On Board for Success) A non profit organization. We stayed open through Covid by the skin of our teeth and eventually it was too much for a start up to keep going and we had to close. For the past few months we have been restructuring to move in a different direction. With this restructuring we are hoping to get a food truck and hopefully a small space to get catering going again. This is bigger than us at this point. Our entire industry has been racked through the coals, and a few of friends lost business and/or their entire business. So the food truck we are going to start is not just for us, but those who want to rent it out as well. We also plan to have some of the entrepreneurs from the J.O.B.S. Program run it on their own for certain events. It is about training and community in our eyes. We have spots already planned out on where to park and get started on weekends and hoping we can get some of our employees back and be our happy family once again. Lil Bit Cafe was our dream for 25 years working in this business and watching our community come support us was amazing. I miss it everyday and hope that with your support you can help get us rolling once again.
