Get me to Tallahassee: LGBTQIA @ Lobby Days 2024!

PLEASE SUPPORT ME SO THAT I CAN SUPPORT YOU, OUR VOICES NEED TO BE HEARD!!!!!

It's that time of year again to prepare to stand up again against the forces that continue to attack our community and other marginalized groups in the state of Florida.

Last year was by far the worst legislative year for the LGBTQIA+ community. Although many of the bills that were passed last year have been challenged and paused on constitutional grounds, we cannot take the pressure off of our elected officials. The Florida Legislature is expected to continue in its unending assault to discriminate, suppress and erase LGBTQIA+ Floridians. It is my intent to travel three times this year to Tallahassee to participate in Lobby Days to assist Equality Florida and the LGBTQIA+ Democratic Caucus.

We need as many representatives as possible of our community to show up and speak out to represent our values and to defend our civil and personal rights as Floridians and US citizens. We will again be attempting to stop or temper any and all negative and harmful legislation that affects our community.

Florida continues to be a proving ground for legislation that can escalate and spread to a national level. It is imperative that we attempt on all levels to prevent legislation from moving forward. These trips to support our community are increasingly expensive. I am looking to fund these trips and other trips to conferences and meetings around the State of Florida. I will support and represent the Space Coast and the greater community of LGBTQIA+ citizens. I am humbly asking the public to assist me in raising funds for this endeavor.
