Get my car back from impound or buy new car

Hi my name is mark lopez about a week ago on December 4 i got car jacked at gun point & got my car stolen with my dog inside of the car his name is dax every second of every moment me & my friends were looking all over Oakland for my baby boy on wensday the thief who robbed me tried using my credit card at a liquor store so i went down there & spoke with clerk said that the guy came walking so i figured he cant be far away so me & my gf went looking & found my car inside was the thief as soon as he saw me he ran away i called the oakland PD but they managed to get there late once again & the thief got away.. for what ever reason the police told me they had to impound my car witch i think was unnecessary because i was the oke who found it not them i think they were just trying to charge me so ive been renting a gig car share car & its costing me 142$ every 24 hours we blew thru our checks & saving trying to rent this car in order for me to look for dax & get my gf to & from work i had to step down from my job in order to pay for this gig car share car doing grubhub orders i found my baby boy dax at the same place where my car was on tuesday night thank the lord but now im left here with no job & a expensive rental trying to get my car out of the negligent police hands
