Police ex filmed me naked in my home & took child

Imagine being the victim of severe domestic abuse, and then the manipulative abuser using his police powers to use the systems against you, including taking your baby, to avoid accountability and punish you for daring to resist.
I struggled to leave a violent and controlling relationship with a police officer ex for many years. When I finally got the courage to report him, he "got in first" to take my child, my house, destroy my reputation, and use the systems against me by making false allegations to discredit me, and shifting the focus onto my reactions to his extreme abuse.
It transpires he had my child and I under covert surveillance in our own home. He holds footage of both my child and I naked, and can show anyone he wants. It is humiliating. This is on top of years of multiple physical assaults, threats with a weapon and controlling and coercive behaviour. He watched our every move and listened to every telephone call I made.
Because he is a police officer he has been able to manipulate the systems to take everything from me. His colleagues have not put much effort into investigating him, despite a mountain of evidence. He is trying to use his colleagues to instead criminalise a victim for her reactions, yet the abuser gets away with his abuse.
If this case goes against me, it reinforces the ability of a police abuser to manipulate the systems and benefit from their abuse, whilst the victim loses everything, including her child. I am fighting back. I cannot let this precedent be set, and neither can any mother or survivor of domestic abuse. "Provoke and record" cannot be allowed to be endorsed as a tactic by abusers in this country:
