Hi my name is Crystal Clayton, I am the daughter of Latrice Clayton On April 18th my mom went on vacation to west Africa something she’s been wanting to do all her life. After being there for two day’s she caught malaria, and ended up in the hospital. Because she was from the United States the hospital would not take her medical insurance, so she could not receive the proper care and medication she needed. She was in the hospital for 6 day’s. The malaria caused her blood pressure to elevate, which lead to a stroke. After having a stroke they found bleeding on her brain and she had to have emergency surgery, to release some of the pressure. She never made it out of surgery. She has 4 adult children, a 7 year old lil girl, 8 grandkids, and lot of love ones that’s trynna raise money to get her body home and help with any medical expenses.
