Help Nikki get to the World Championships!

Hi, I'm Nikki, Great Britain's bobsleigh pilot.

My long term goal is to be selected for the next Winter Olympics in Italy in 2026, and I’m putting my all into it! I have been selected for the 2023 World Championships which will be held in Winterberg, Germany.

Unfortunately, UK Sport only funds certain athletes within the Great Britain team, and sadly that doesn't include me, so currently I’m completely self-funded.

I’ve built my own company and work long days during the off-season to fund every run down the ice, but it’s expensive, and I need to be at every race in both disciplines (2 man and monobob) competing against the world’s best athletes to make the selection.

To compete in the World Championships it will cost like any other week on season, £3020. I have put a lot of my own money alongside my amazing sponsors to get to this point.

Last year I also qualified for the World Championships but unfortunately I couldn't make it as I couldn't raise the funds. I am hoping to change that this year!

I’ve worked so hard to get to this position, and I’m determined to get to the World Championships!
