Get our deadbeat tenant out and help us get our house back!

We are Jason and Lorinda Seward and we have been living a nightmare with a professional deadbeat tenant for almost a year. This has taken a huge toll on our mental and physical health and well-being. We cannot understand how it is possible that our tenant, who was arrested for assault with a weapon in the unit on September 10, 2023, stopped paying rent (and is currently $16,700.00 in arrears) in September, cut off the hydro on September 18, 2023, removed her personal belongings with the assistance of the Peterborough Police on September 28, 2023, failed to leave on her eviction day, May 31, 2024 when she didn’t pay, was awarded a stay of eviction 4 days AFTER her eviction date, was arrested and charged with mischief on June 11, 2024 for damaging our home, is allowed to hold our property hostage.

We have exhausted our savings, maxed out our line of credit and were turned down for another line of credit increase. Please help us not lose our house and our life savings.
