Updated: Get Our Julia Home To Australia!

Hi, we are friends with Julia and our names are Remy and Steph we are creating this gofundme on behalf of Julia Barresi and her family.

UPDATE:

We would like to thank everyone who has donated so far, we can not thank everyone enough. Julia’s family are also so grateful to everyone who had helped to bring their daughter/sister home. Julia has been medically evacuated and is on her way home back to Melbourne to be taken care of. Now the hard work begins. Everyday is unknown and your continued support is very much appreciated. 

On the 1/7/2024, Julia experienced an impactful seizure in bali after being unwell for a few days. Causing Julia to have this seizure was her dangerously low sodium levels, due to her being so unwell. This has unfortunately placed her in a critical state in the icu ward of a balinese hospital. We would love Julia to be able to be treated where all her friends and family are so she can receive as much care and support as possible.

For Julia to be cared for it is costing her family thousands of dollars and it quite possibly may not be able to be covered by insurance. We believe with everyone’s help we can help to raise a great amount to support Julia’s family, get Julia better and most importantly get Julia home.

If anyone knows Julia, they would know that she has a heart of gold and would go above and beyond to help anyone. So in return Julia deserves any donations that we can get to give her the best care possible! Any donations matter no matter how much and we are just incredibly grateful for any kind of support for Julia.

The costs for Julia to be transported back to Australia is looking to be at around $170,000, we are so grateful for what has already been raised.
