Hello, my name is Richard and I'm trying to raise money to buy a new outdoor power chair.
I can no longer get parts for the one I’ve had for the past 15 years and it’s slowly dying beyond being repaired. My insurance will no longer pay for or toward a new one. I am now retired and live on a fixed income, so my ability to afford a new power chair is somewhat limited.
An outdoor power chair is my only means of attaining the freedom and independence to explore the woods, fish the ponds and piers in my area - all of the activities that I truly love to do (especially fishing).
I worked in my youth on a farm before my automobile accident in 1975, then as an adult as a construction coordinator for Long John Silvers. I am finally at a point where I could sure use some help. If a large number of folks could spare a few bucks, it would lessen the burden on me to get myself mobile again. Below is the outdoor power chair that I'm trying to raise funds for.
