Help Samford get back to March Madness for revenge

We need your help! $1, $5, or $10 could go a long way in getting Samford Men's Basketball back in the spotlight!

We all saw it; the entire country saw it. With 14 seconds left in the first round of March Madness, Samford was stripped of its opportunity to become the Cinderella of 2024. Samford had just captured the heart of America after rallying back from down 22 and brought themselves within 1 point of 4 seed, blue blood, Kansas.

It was the first tournament appearance in 24 years for Samford University and it had all the makings of a special run. The players, coaches, fans, and the university were bought in and had given every ounce of effort they had. Only one thing stood in the way of Samford getting its first NCAA Tournament win in school history. No, it was not the 1,800 miles of travel to Salt Lake. It was not the underdog matchup of being a 13 seed vs a blue blood 4 seed Kansas. It was not a 22 point second half deficit. Samford overcame all of those obstacles... The one thing that stood in the way of one of the greatest March Madness moments in history was a single whistle....

After Samford's clutch corner 3 the Bulldogs were within 1 point (previously down 22), however, Kansas had a quick outlet pass that then found a free running player down the court. In an attempt for an icing on the cake, the Kansas player went for two-handed slam, but Samford made a play in the likeness of LeBron James. A chase down block that would be cemented into college basketball history. Insert the whistle. A foul called, yet there was no contact made by Samford on the Kansas player in any capacity. Had this casper-esque foul not been called, Samford would have had the ball on a fast break, 5 on 4 advantage, down one point with 14 seconds left. If you think Samford would not have scored and won the game, then you are simply lying. Click on the link below to see the full scene played out and you can be the judge.

We need your help! Your financial support can help make this massive wrong turned right. A simple donation of $1, $5, or $10 can make a massive difference in the climb back to March Madness.

Any reason to donate is a great reason! Every dollar helps.

Your money will go directly to the 205 Bulldog Collective. An organization built to directly assist Samford Men's Basketball student-athletes. Let's use this negative moment and turn it positive by benefiting the ones who were affected the most, the players.

Any and every donation is greatly appreciated and will help Samford get back to the spotlight and overcome every obstacle, including referees!
