As some of you know, I have been sick since my freshman year of high school. Since then, I have continued to get worse and started to accumulate more and more diagnoses. Starting mid-July, I have the opportunity to meet with multiple doctors that treat thousands of patients just like me. This is a chance to be diagnosed with ongoing "unnamed" conditions. With your help and the grace of God, my mom and I will be able to travel to Arizona, see these three doctors, and be able to stay longer if needed. I would also be able to get all of the vital tests, assessments, procedures, and treatments there that I need to understand my health and ultimately improve it.
I was diagnosed with P.O.T.S. last year, but I am still unable to get it under control. P.O.T.S. has caused me to be disabled-to keep me from living a normal life. I am constantly fatigued, lightheaded, weak, dizzy, nauseous, deal with headaches and migraines, etc. The Mayo Clinic was first to truly study POTS, and how it affects the rest of the body. Unfortunately, many local doctors (even some that I have seen in LA) are not comfortable enough with POTS, so that cannot give me the correct treatment that my body needs. I will be seeing a neurologist and a cardiologist about my POTS, as well as a geneticist to look into diseases that could be causing all of these issues that I've been struggling with for the past 6/7 years. These appointments are set for mid July-starting on the 17th. I am unsure of how long I will be there, but I was told to expect an extended stay, because of all of my ongoing conditions.
Any amount that you may be able to offer will be thankfully accepted. However, if you are unable to provide any funds (or even if you do), I would also be grateful to be kept in prayer before and during the time of the trip.

After going to the Mayo Clinic in July, we knew we would need to go back. I was sadly unable to meet with the doctor that would be able to help me with my POTS and get further diagnoses. After my mom and I calling at least 3x a day waiting for an appointment or filling a cancelation, we FINALLY got an appointment for the end of October! We know that this will be a time that requires financial help. If you are willing to support me in the second trip (hopefully the last big one), I would be beyond grateful. If not, I totally understand! I am thankful that you are just reading my story to begin with!
