Get Spartan Pizza & Family Back on Their Feet
Donation protected
As many of you have heard, there was a devastating fire in our community. Unfortunately, on September 18th, our loved Spartan pizza caught fire and my wonderful father-in-law Moe and his family lost their life’s long work. Moe and his family have been a big part of our community and have worked closely with our local schools, firefighters, OPP, and sports teams for over a decade. If you don’t know Moe, he is the big guy behind the counter with a smile that takes over his face and a heart of gold.
We are thankful that Moe and his family made it out of the restaurant safe and sound. Moe took it upon himself to help the lady living upstairs escape. We as a community have considered Spartans a staple in our homes - the best pizza in town with the friendliest staff. I would love to have our community come together to help Moe and his family in this tragic time to help rebuild their life’s work. Spartans has been good to us all these years; now let’s show how good we can be to Spartans and their family!
We may not be able to go back and save the things they have lost, but we as a community can band together to show how many people have their backs and are here to support them through this difficult time.
Currently, Moe is working with local realtors and friends to find a new place to set up shop. Moe wants to be able to serve our community of Carleton Place with fantastic food and excellent service once again.
He will need these funds to buy an entire inventory of new equipment and set up a new store. From ovens, fryers, and a hood, all these are very costly. Moe is currently without an income, so any big or small donation will have a considerable impact.
We also wanted to thank all the Fire Departments involved, the town and all they have done, Hydro, and everyone else involved in keeping the fire contained and safe. Thank you for this sacrifice.
Thank you so much, and keep the Spartan Pizza family in your prayers.
