Help get "T" mobile

I am so moved by the overwhelming response to this fundraiser. I have paid off the ticket, and T has officially gotten her liscense back.

If we continue to get more donations, I will put anything over the original goal towards paying off the car she just acquired and is making payments on. Thank you all so much!!! It's nice to know there are still so many good people in this world. :)

Picture this:

You just finished a long and demanding shift Friday night, where you work primarily for tips.

All you want to do is go home and relax, but instead of just hopping in your car, you have to gamble a significant portion of the nights income on the shifting prices of an Uber or a Lyft. Sometimes it's 20$ to get home, sometimes it's close to 50$. Either way, it's taking a significant portion of the tips you just made and need to survive-- just to get to and from work.

Why? Because you can't keep enough of your money on a day to day basis to pay off an old ticket that has resulted in your license being suspended. You are stuck circling the drain of living paycheck to paycheck, dollar to dollar.

I hope this isn't happening to you, but for many people in this world, and for one person in particular, this is reality.

I am currently trying to raise money for my good friend, coworker, and an overall great human being, "T" to get her driver's license re-instated.

"T" has overcome unimaginable obstacles and endured serious hardships in order to secure her independence, and this is the last step in that journey: to get her mobile, and on the road. To do so, she needs to pay off a single ticket.

"T" is one of the hardest workers I have ever met, and she is a kind and compassionate person who was dealt a rough hand yet still chooses to do the right thing regardless of whatever life throws at her.

She stays late at work to help others get their jobs done. She shows up if she gets called in on her day off. She makes sure to create memorable birthdays for her coworkers and always shares her incredible snacks. In her spare time, she rescues baby squirrels and mice and other critters. She always shows up in full force in everything she does, and she always gives her all to others.

Like many people right now, she is currently struggling to get back on her feet financially. Having to pay for expensive rides to and from work is only making her situation seem more impossible. In this increasingly difficult and costly world, a leg up would make a world of difference for her, and I truly can't think of another person who deserves one more.

Just a few dollars from each person could truly change the life of a special person who brightens the lives of all who get to interact with her-- those of you who know her will understand what I mean. "T" is truly one of a kind.

Thanks to another kind-hearted person who believes in her, she has recently obtained a vehicle, but she can't legally drive it until her license is re-instated. She is SO CLOSE to getting out of this viscious cycle! $500 is all that is needed to get a wonderful

person out of the rat race of paying for rides and not being able to afford her own transportation. Just $500 could change the life of someone who impacts the lives of all people she encounters.

For years, I've seen this girl go through the ringer and still show up to work every day with a smile on her face, give it her all, make others laugh, help people out, and spread joy out of the kindness of her heart. I truly believe she deserves a win and a little help that life hasn't yet managed to provide her with.

She is truly worth it, and any help will be going to a great cause.

Please help one of the best people I know fully regain her independence and fully get into motion-- please help get "T" mobile.
