Get Thera and the Kids into their New Home

Hey y’all! My name is Katie Walton. My family has been very close friends with Thera and Trey for along time. Through Treys untimely death I feel as if Thera and I have gotten closer. Her consistent strength and courage to show up for her children throughout loosing the love of her life has been nothing short but amazing to watch.

Thera and the kids moved out of their previous home quickly after the funeral. The kids couldn’t be in the place that it happened, and she quickly acknowledged that and moved everything. Luckily they have been able to stay with Treys brother and his very sweet wife. In passing conversation, Thera had told me how bad she wanted to get the kids into a rental home so they could begin to create new memories as a family, without forgetting Trey. Coincidentally, almost immediately after this conversation, she found a precious home in downtown Celina with the most wonderful man running the lease. He is willing to be accommodating, it’s perfect for their little family, and Thera can make the payments with her job.

Most of her money she was so kindly gifted on here went to funeral expenses, and now she finds herself emptying her bank account to put the deposit down on the rental etc. She will be needing new furniture, because she got rid of her old, mattresses, curtains, kitchenware etc.

Anything you may be able to contribute during this holiday season would be a gigantic blessing for them, and I know she will put it to wonderful use in trying to create a new normal for her and the kiddos.
