Memorial for Danny McClean, aka Wee Jimmy, the homeless guy

Hi, everyone, my name is Alison Morrison and I am trying to raise funds for the Memorial Service for Wee Jimmy. He was a lovely wee soul and I wish he had went to the hospital, but,he choose to go the way he lived. He sat in the same position for 4 days, but the gestures shown to him were beautiful. At least he died knowing people cared.

His memorial service will be the 20th May at St Thomas's Church at 7pm to allow people who work to attend.

Lets do the man proud, with the Community spirit and kindness that has been shown so far.

As many of you know, I looked after him , taking him food, warm coat, drinks until he died on Glasgow Road. Alot of you have expressed wishes for a memorial service, A memorial bench. I have currently emailed the council to ask about the purchase of one, as they is such a scheme. If enough is raised the money will pay for it. He will always be remembered, that way.The organist will also have to be paid at the service. Any left from whatever is raised will go to a homeless charity in Edinburgh.
