Get Tony Morewood out of Cambodia and Back Home.

Do you remember comedian and teacher Tony Morewood from the 1980s and 1990s?
He’s still going strong and occasionally gigging in the Far East. 

For the past 15 years he’s been a professionalTeacher in South East Asia. Most recently in Cambodia  

The pandemic lockdown means that his livelihood has been taken away from him (Schools have closed until September). He can’t pay rent, is living very hand to mouth and finds himself trapped in a country that poverty won’t let him leave. He needs YOUR HELP. 
If all the people who knew him or were taught by him bunged a couple of quid in the pot, then we would be able to pay off his debts. 

We need to raise money for his late visa fees, a coronavirus test (the authorities are not letting any foreigners leave without one, but they are very hard for non-nationals to obtain) and a plane ticket back home. Until he gets a flight, he also needs money for food and shelter 

There is no provision for aid from his school or the authorities and the British Embassy aren’t being very helpful either. 

Please help if you can. A few of us have sent money over, but times are hard for us old comics and a joint effort is needed.
