UHart DPT2s to National APTA Conference
Donation protected
Thank you for visiting this page and considering donating to the University of Hartford Doctor of Physical Therapy Class of 2024. We are a group of second-year DPT students striving to enhance our education and looking to add to the conversation at the American Physical Therapy Association Combined Sections Meeting (APTA CSM) in February 2023. Since we entered the program, our mission has been to become physical therapists who always incorporate evidence-based practice and an enhanced patient experience to create a compassionate and individualized patient care plan. We have taken advantage of each opportunity to achieve this goal in the classroom and are now eager to visit a community filled with like-minded individuals. At the APTA CSM, we can share what we have learned and learn from others of all different backgrounds.
The mission of the University of Hartford’s DPT program is to educate students to be autonomous movement system experts by integrating best evidence practices to provide diverse care to our patients. We value life-long learning for professional development to positively impact healthcare outcomes.
The APTA CSM conference will help us to achieve these goals through educational programming, inspirational posters, product exhibits, and networking opportunities with professionals from all over the nation.
As students, we are fully responsible for travel costs, conference admissions, and hotel accommodations in San Diego. Up to this point, we have diligently worked on fundraising by hosting fundraisers, selling raffle tickets, and creating customized DPT stickers. We are now reaching out to our community and local businesses who want to help us reach our goal. Regardless of the amount, any donations would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for being so considerate!
