Please help get us through my medical nightmare

Hello,
My name is Michelle Scharbrough. I'm fund raising to assist with easing the b burden on my family for necessities associated with my medical care.
Asking for help isn't easy. I don't like to at all. But I'm asking for myself, and my family.
I'm in need of a carrier with a ramp for the car. Plus a cover for my power chair. Need ramps so I'm able to get out doorways. Not sure the extent of items needed. But we caught a break on some of my medical bills.
For over 7 years I've been slowly losing my ability to walk and care for myself. As well as my family.

At first it didn't keep me down. I took care of my family and our home. I had lower back pain. But I'd have no warning and would fall from time to time. I noticed it would also start to take some of my strength. Dr's said they couldn't find anything. So I kept going.
The last 4 years have really changed things. I had to start using a cane to stay mobile. I was doing OK until in August 2023. I lost most of my vision to cataracts. I stopped driving between my sight and loss of leg strength.
It was difficult to get around with my cane having limited sight.
My independence was slowly depleting.
I couldn't cook standing anymore. I was using an induction burner at the dining table. My husband and daughter would help get items for me to make meals.
I'm an insulin dependant diabetic. With my loss of sight, strength, and shaking, I had someone else helping me with my shots.
In November just after Thanksgiving I fell hard. Bruised my left side. After another hard fall I was having to use a walker for safety. Dr's are afraid of damage being done with each fall.
I was able to have surgery to remove the cataracts in January. So my vision is better.
My balance however, was not.
From beginning of December till the beginning of January I had 8 more falls. One in which I fractured my foot. Breaking my big toe. I'm not able to pull myself up off the floor anymore. I'd have to call my husband at work to come help me up. I was recommended for in home physical therapy. That ended. I wasn't getting better.
I fell a couple more times and by the end of January I was put in a wheelchair.
I was unable to get around by myself having limited strength. A motorized wheelchair had been recommended. It was a lot of money that we didn't have. It helped give me more independence. And some relief to my family. They wouldn't have to push me everywhere. Do everything for me.
During this time I've had numerous doctors appointments. MRI's. X rays. C/T scan. Several prescription changes. Blood work and testing. Just to be told more testing to be done. Nerve study and Ultra sound. As well as possible surgery in my future. Along with all of that side effects from meds came into play. So more Dr visits. More tests.
I tried to schedule everything on my husband's day off during the week. But not everything is available on that day or at certain times to reduce the amount of work he misses. I do what I can with video dr visits. But I've gotta be seen as well.
My husband has come home to help me with my falls. And Dr's appointments. Missing more work. He's our only income.Needless to say he has no more pto to cover the times he has had to take off.
We've got nothing left. My family helps if they can. But between the high cost of services needed. Dr appointments and medical equipment. As well as prescription cost...... we are unable to keep up.
Something is seriously wrong with my back. And they can't seem to figure out what's going on.
I was in emergency room 2x in 2 weeks due to unbearable pain.
I've even gotten a nerve blocker. Preparing for a second one now. Had to put it off 3x due to infections.
I'm still holding out hope and praying I might be able to regain some of what has been lost.
My husband and daughter have been doing all they can to help. Between her schooling and his working, It's hard because I'm dependant on them to function daily.
They've been great. But it is taking a toll on them.
We need help with expenses.
This situation has snowballed. Catching us unaware.
With the continued costs....We're drowning. This economy has made it difficult to pay rent and bills. Not to mention groceries.
Looked into getting help, but he makes too much to get any. Even though his missing work, it counts against us.

Anything you're able to give helps. Sharing helps as well.
Thank you for reading.
God bless
Michelle
