Get well Josephine Lynch
Donation protected
Bet you never saw this one coming, I know we didn't. Here's a family who has literaly never asked for anything. Quite the opposite really. Instead of delivering homemade cinnamon rolls to service men and women on Christmas morning as they usually do, the Lynches experienced an unexpected turn of events leading up to our sweet Josephine being hospitalized for acute encephalitis. As everyone has google at their fingertips, I'll spare you the gory details, but suffice to say at the moment Josephine has limited movement every muscle below her neck, as well as no ability to speak.
There are unexpected costs of medical treatment, therapy and most of all costs associated with relocating the family from their home city to where Josephine will undergo therapy (551 miles away). We are looking at a minimum of three months of therapy where Josephine will relearn how to walk and talk, dress herself- an unbelievable notion as she was just in a ballet recital two weeks ago. As you can imagine taking care of four children at home plus being with Josephine 24 hours per day at the hospital requires extra resources. The family is fortunate that insurance will cover most of the medical costs but long-term outpatient therapy and relocating the family on such short notice will create additional expenses.
We realize that it is just after the holidays and many people are strapped but thoughts, prayers and even a small cash donation go a long way. The family anticipates that they will be relocated within a week so we are hoping that funds are there to meet their needs.
Let's rally around this spunky, superstar and get her jumpstarted on the road to recovery!
PS On the off chance your generosity exceeds the needs of the family they have promised to donate the surplus to the El Paso Children's Hospital (who, by the way, have been world class).
****Edit (to comply with the regulations at GoFundMe) Travis Lynch (father of Josephine) will be the beneficiary of this account and will see to it that these funds are used directly for costs associated with Josefine's recovery). Thanks again for all of your support.
