This campaign is to raise funds to help the Silva Family.
Our colleague at the SET Technical Center, Daniel Silva and his wife, Emily, just found out that the eldest of their four children, 7 year old Logan, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He has undergone 2 surgeries in less than a week. Preliminary testing is saying Logan has a Medulloblastoma, and right now is looking at radiation and chemotherapy treatments for approximately a year. They face a rather long road.
Meantime, we thought it would be a great idea if we could show the the Silvas' our love and support by donating funds to help to ease the burden of Logan's expenses and whatever else the family needs.
The Silva's are a wonderful family, full of love, faith and strength. They are always the first ones to help others when it's needed, and now it's time for us to step up for them.
Whether or not you work with or know Daniel personally, it doesn't matter. Most of us know what it's like to see parents who hurt when their children are hurting. We ask that you put yourself in their shoes, and take a brief moment to send a donation, and of course, include them in your prayers.
