Big picture: I'm dreaming big and need support to make it a reality! In 2025/2026, I plan to attend herbalism school in the states. Tuition ranges from $5,000-$12,000. This decision feels immense, but also like a North Star. I couldn't trust it more. I want to be a community herbalist and educator. I want to share simple remedies to those who normally do not have access to it. I want to weave plants into my current career of supporting systems involved youth with major unmet needs. I believe in the power and intelligence and healing of plants. I believe in making things with my hands.
To be honest, I have no idea what that will look like, but I’m certain educating myself is a foundational piece. I believe that plants hold power and healing, and that herbal medicine is one of our oldest forms of community care. And, there are way too many barriers for many to access it. I would love to utilize my education to support others.
Earlier this year, I launched a baby business called Rebels Root. A fellow herb friend made my logo, and I’ve been vending at makers markets and selling directly to friends and family. I try to highlight local abundant ingredients, and work with the seasons. My offerings are listed below. - Fire Cider ~ an ancient and tasty vinegar extraction used to stimulate heat in the body, aid in illness, and for incredible flavor.
