Get JT to Colorado for TREATMENT

JT has been bravely battling Epilepsy for 7 years with no relief. He has been on dozens of medications, most causing terrible side effects yet not controlling the seizures. He has had thousands of convulsive seizures as well as hundreds of involuntary jerks and staring spells a day. He has tried IVIG, high dose steroid treatment.. Nothing works to control the had seizures. When I heard about The success of Charlotte, and all the cases now in Colorado who have amazing seizure reduction using a low THC high CBD oil, I felt hope. Each year his condition had worsened, he is no longer able to attend school, he has a hospital homebound teacher and has full time nursing care when I am not with him. After JTs hospital admission last week following a 45 minute seizure it became clear there are no more options here. I Sat down with his neurologists and just cried, I said I'm not putting him through this anymore when there are no answers. Putting him through multiple IV sticks where he has to be held down by 5 people, being confined to a bed for days for EEGs, those EEGs that he now has to put in restraints to get on because he hates it so much and fights it with all he has. He has handled this all with unimaginable strength and he deserves a compassionate alternative. I am a single mom and making this move is so scary and there are so many expenses but I have to help my baby. Im not one to ask for help but I can't do this one on my own.
