My super talented uncle, David Hanson, (known as Las Vegas Dave to my brothers and me) has been invited to exhibit his artwork at the Parallax Art Fair in Kensington, London! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for him and I can think of no one more deserving of this experience than my uncle. His talent speaks for itself and deserves the attention and recognition that this art fair will provide.
My uncle has also been through a lot in the past 10 years. Throughout that time, he cared for my aunt, his wife Stacey while she was battling cancer. She eventually lost that battle in May of 2017. Despite their struggle, I have never seen a love more true and everlasting. The commitment of David to Stacey was and is beautiful.
This art fair marks a new beginning for my uncle. The future seems unclear for him right now, but this could be a solid first step. For those of us who knew and loved Stacey, we know she would be cheering him on every step of the way. Let us all cheer him on and help in any way we can. Please consider donating to his trip, and if you cannot help monetarily, please consider helping with the planning of the trip. Your support of David means so much. Thank you!
