Getenesh's Medical Care and Recovery

Getenesh is a young geophysicist working for the Geological Survey of Ethiopia who recently completed a MSc study in Iceland. She is regarded as one of the up and coming large contributors to the geothermal development in Ethiopia. Getenesh was involved in a bus accident in October 2020 and was severely injured.

This is the second round of fundraising for Getenesh. The previous contributions of a little over $5000 were so very helpful and the contributions were very generous! She was able to move to a private hospital after receiving surgery on her arm, but she still has a long road to recovery after numerous surgeries on her shoulder and spine and can continue to use our help. 

We are asking for you to help in Getenesh's continued journey in treatment, healing and her recovery. Any contribution is very much appreciated and no amount is too small!
