Getting Abbie better!

Hello everybody !

I’m starting a GoFundMe for our good friend Abbie Jenkins. Miss Jenkins fought me on making this but unfortunately the situation hasn’t gotten better.

A few months ago the hospital discovered a large lump inside of Abbie’s neck (she has since named the tumour Sid) unfortunately results haven’t been great and rehabilitation could potentially take a while. (and budgeted for). Abbie has spent the last few months in and out of hospital, invasive biopsies performed on her and will be undergoing major throat surgery in the near future and will be taking time off to recover.

Abbie (when healthy) works in the film industry. Anyone who works in film knows how BRUTAL the industry has been the past 3 years. Pandemic, the strike and general lack of work has diminished many workers nest eggs. Unfortunately, her work isn’t something anyone can do while recovering from major throat surgery.

Family and friends are pulling together trying to cover her rent and bills for 3-6 months.
