Getting Anonh well again - surgery & recovery
Donation protected
Dr. Anonh Xeuatvongsa has been instrumental in improving the lives and health of ordinary women and children in Laos over the last 20 years. He is passionate about his work in health and has worked tirelessly in Government service on the front line as well as internationally.
Unfortunately, he was recently diagnosed with liver cancer. This was caught early and has a good prognosis, but only with surgery and treatment. His surgery bill alone in Thailand is expected to be >$10,000, which he does not have as he recently had to pay for his wife's medical bills. He will be having surgery this week and treatment in the next 2-3 weeks.
I have never set up one of these before, but have known Anonh for 15 years in Laos and on the international public health scene. I can honestly not think of a more deserving case for crowd sourcing to save a life. His health, skills and experience are vital for many people in Laos.
Any funds donated will directly support the payment of his surgery and treatment.
