Hi we're the Mercado and Collazo, we're reaching with a heavy heart to share the heartbreaking news of my beloved grandfather's Jose Mercado passing. On July 18th, 2023, he suffered a sudden heart attack. As we mourn the loss of this incredible man, who was a selfless, compassionate soul. We are determined to honor his memory by fulfilling his last wish – lay him to rest in his cherished homeland, Dominican Republic.

Unfortunately, fulfilling this wish has become a financial burden for our family including his loving wife of 60 years.

We are pooling together all the resources we have, but it is simply not going to be enough by Aug/ 5/ 2023.
