Getting my sisters ashes

Hi, im Melissa and i am trying to raise money to get my sister Norma Jean's ashes back to NH from West Virginia. Sadly i didn't want to have to make this go fund me because i was under the assumption that everything was and would be taken care of. I have contacted the funeral home in WV and they are not willing to work with us on a payment plan because nothing was ever done or attempted to be done to get them. My sister Norma Jean passed away on 9/20/23 from colon cancer and leukemia. She didn't have any life insurance, she was on disability. She moved to west Virginia in 2022 due to not being able to afford the living situation in Maine at the time. If your not able to donate, please share this. Her family just wants her ashes back to where they belong. Im afraid that they will dispose of them after a year. She doesn't deserve to be left on a shelf in a backroom somewhere. Please help if you can. Thank you
