Asking for a hand up not a hand out

Hey I'm Rob and I'm swallowing my pride and doing something I don't do and asking for help to get me through this difficult time in my life.

In January I was hospitalized in Georgia with Covid spent 5 days in ICU with Sepsis and got out of ICU and to regular hospital room figuring I beat it, I'm good. Unfortunately when the therapists came to start physical therapy my legs had no movement or strength to even stand up. Doctors said it was caused by the Covid sometimes people will lose motor function in extremities. Spent next 2 months just using a machine to help me just stand until they found a rehabilitation center/nursing home that would take me in NJ because they couldn't find any in GA to move me to do rehab. First 30 days I finally was able to use walker to stand and take few steps than insurance stopped and had no physical therapists since than because I had to apply for medicaid just to stay here or they were going to kick me out. So I had to apply because I have no where to go. These last 3 months the facility has taken my pension and disability checks and I've exhausted my bank account paying bills. Right now I need a few months of funds to last me for clothing,my phone bill,razors shaving cream etc and some snacks and meal replacements for the really crappy food they serve here sometimes I don't eat at all because it's that bad. My medicaid is supposed to be finalized by end of month and I can get back with the PT team to help me because they stopped working with me and I've just been doing it on my own for last 2 months. And hopefully once I start working with the physical therapists again I can get out of here within the next few months.
