Gary Ross

As many of you may know, my little 13 year old cousin, Gary Ross, tried to take his own life all because he was being bullied at school and over social media. Gary was such an amazing kid and made everyone around him smile. Gary made a huge impact on everyone that got to know him. He loved making new friends, going new places, and trying new things. He loved to make people laugh and was such a happy joyful kid on the outside, but no one knew how much he had built up inside. This is such a tragic situation for our family, we never seen this coming or thought this could happen to any of our loved ones.
We’re asking our community and our support group to help us lay Gary to rest. As many families don't ever think they are gonna bury their child, he does not have life insurance and all the expenses will have to come out of pocket. Anything over shall be used for his memorial and to assist in the fight to stop bullying in the schools and to help raise suicide awareness in children. Please any little bit will help!

Today (04/19/2023) at 12:50pm My little cousin, my heart, basically one of my own kids, was pronounced deceased. Our hearts are shattered we can't wrap our heads around this tragic event. Our hearts hurt so bad. Idk how my family is going to move on from this so please keep us in your prayers.
The next 24-48hrs Gary's body will go through tests to see what organs are still good and what they can donate. Gary was the kindest boy so we know that Gary would want to be able to save someone if he could. After the 48hrs, the Gift of Life of Michigan will do an Honor walk, pushing him from his hospital room at Children’s Hospital in Detroit, to the operating room, where they will gather all of the miracles that other special children will receive from Gary. I am asking everyone that knew this special boy or was touched by him, to line those halls up for him and show him how much love and support he has.
We are so thankful for all the support and love everyone has showed all of us and we can not express our gratitude to everyone who has taken a moment to be there for us in our time of need.
As soon as we find out a time for the walk, I will post it on here. It is likely to be on Saturday morning but no set time as of yet.
