Anti-knife crime

We are a group of 17-18 year old lads brought up in South Yorkshire and we feel passionately on trying to do what we can to make our community safer. We are running the Sheffield half marathon in an attempt to raise awareness and funds to donate to Always An Alternative. The recent tragedy in Sheffield has made us realise this can happen to anybody and nobody should be in danger in their community, especially in a school environment. Do you want to join me in supporting Always an alternative: They are a charity created with the ultimate aim of spreading awareness and reducing knife crime, gun crime, gangs culture and anti-social behaviour; what we call, current risks to youths. They achieve this by using alternative ways of education to engage the youthful minds of today; inform, mentor and support them with the challenges that they may come up against.
