Ghana deaf school volunteering work

Hello, My name is Lara Scott, and my good friend Sylvia Kenneth. We decide to take part in volunteering work in Ghana as part of VoluntEars organizations in 2023.

To do this VountEars opportunity, we both decide to start fundraising to give you a chance to help Deaf school in Ghana by being part of this incredible journey

During our time there, we will be working with deaf children, exchanging knowledge of culture, teaching them and much more... the deaf school in Ghana is supported by the government very little but not enough. Therefore, it heavily depends on donations and support from people like us to keep the school running for deaf children. They use whatever resources they have from donations to create material for teaching. They make their school uniforms and also make things to sell for money to keep them going. However, they need our help with providing the material to enable them to do this...

Every donation made to this fundraising will help buy resources and material to be able to provide the material we need to bring the classroom back to life. Those materials would help to provide equipment for children to use, also for teaching, sports. We are also planning to donate sewing machines and fabric, which the schools need for their vocational activities. (they make all the school uniforms at school and struggle to have enough machines & fabric) It would be greatly appreciated for every donation made to us, regardless of how big or small would be greatly appreciated.
