HOPE FOR SAMUEL
Donation protected
Dr. Samuel Addo is my mate from medical school and a dear friend I have known for over a decade now. He is a senior resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH). He was diagnosed with gastric cancer about five years ago.
Family, colleagues, friends, and the Ghana government, through its health agencies, have pitched in monetarily to help him seek treatment in Israel for this ailment. He still, however, requires more expensive chemotherapy to help him achieve a full recovery and return to his job as an Obstetrician/Gynecologist, which he loves so much. Colleagues, family, and friends have contributed, but it is still not enough.
Currently, his treatment regimen includes chemotherapy costing approximately 4300 US dollars per month for an unspecified period. This amount excludes non-chemotherapy medications, medical consultations, and travel-related costs associated with medical care.
It has been a tough five years for Samuel, his dear wife, and his two little girls, aged 8 and 6. A once energetic young man - who has served for more than ten years and worked tirelessly to save the lives of many women and babies - has had to virtually watch his life slip away because of his inability to fund his treatment after exhausting his lifetime savings.
With your donation, we can help Samuel get the needed chemotherapy to enable him to be cancer-free, so he can return to his passion of saving the lives of women and babies. Your donation can help Samuel return fully to being the great father he is to his two little girls.
Every penny counts, but if you cannot donate monetarily, we, please ask that you lift his family in prayers and love.
Thank you for Giving.
