Ghost the Snowy Owl's new home
Donation protected
Ghost came to Bird TLC in 2005 with a broken right wing. It is suspected that he was hit by a car. Unfortunately it didn’t heal properly so he can’t fly well enough to care for himself in the wild. He became an education bird in 2006 and came to live with me that same year. I’ve been his only caretaker after initial training by Cindy Palmatier who also was my mentor.
Ghost needs a new mew since I moved to Wasilla. His old mew was no longer large enough since the requirements have changed since it was origonally built. His new mew is to be 12 foot square and 10 foot tall with a slanted roof and arctic entry way. It will be constructed of pretreated lumber so it will last a long time.
This will be his home located on a wooded area on the backside of my property. Nice and quiet and peaceful. This fund is just for the materials. Construction will be done by myself and other volunteers. To see more about Bird TLC , check out our website.
Your donation will be gretaly appreciated!
