Ghosts: an original ballet

The mission of Ghosts is to inspire, educate, and enrich young dancers and the surrounding community through the creation and performance of an original one act ballet.  This project is a unique collaboration of composer, choreographer, dancers and musicians in constructing a new work. 

Ghosts was born out of  composer, Max von Schlehenried's idea that the arts in North Texas were in need of innovative artistic contributions not only recycling of previously written music. This project will assist in the development of young artists as well as increase awareness of the dynamic possiblilities of the arts in the community. 

Ghosts has been a year in the making, and excerpts from the ballet were successfully previewed June 14 at the Eisemann Center.





We are raising funds for the full length production of the ballet which will take place August 14 at the Granville Arts Center in Garland, TX.  All funding will go directly to production and performance cost including: the cost of musicians and dancers, scenery, props and costumes.
