Love for Nicole

Nicole is a mother of four young boys. This November, she discovered she had a brain tumor.  She had surgery, but they couldn't remove it. The tumor is type 1 meningioma. They can't remove it because of its location in the brain, and they need to slow its growth.

Starting next week, Nicole will travel five days a week (one hour and back) to Iowa City for radiation treatments. She will continue this for over six weeks at least (or through March). This is in addition to her jobs and raising her boys.  She also regularly meets with a team of doctors to try to get her better.
