What is the exact breakdown of funds?
Base amount: $29,712
Amount after GoFundMe’s credit/debt processor fees (2.9% overall plus .30 cents per donation): $28,757.50
Post-close donations: $100
Divided by 71 Staff: $ 406.44 each (with one individual getting an extra 0.26)

Please note that these fees actually do not go to GoFundMe- they are the direct cost of processing online payments as charged to them by their third party provider.


Our wonderful Gateway Staff are showing up every day for us-
How lovely if we, in turn, showed up for them!

We would love to show our gratitude by giving gift cards to our awesome doormen, porters, maintenance, and security personnel. The campaign amount is set with the target of giving each employee at least a $500 gift card. 

They are so deeply appreciated- as is your donation. Every little bit helps!

Who is getting these?
    All Gateway staff are included (doormen, security of all shifts,
    maintenance,  porters, etc) for all Gateway buildings 


What are they getting?
   "E-Gift cards" equally distributed across the staff.
    The funds raised will be withdrawn into an individual Wells Fargo Checking Account
    and then distributed as indicated below (withdrawal procedure added as per GoFundMe's policies). 
   
    Disbursement will be done via a no-fee peer to peer payment method, such as:

   Apple Pay Cash 
   Google Pay
   Paypal
   Venmo 
   Zelle
   Etc...

    Form is up to the discretion of the staff member, as per their preference.
    This ensures that no funds are lost to unnecessary transfer fees!! Yuck!


What is the 10%, 15%, 20% fee?  Who is getting that?
   That is an automatic prompt from GoFundMe. We can't remove that question. :/
   You can donate to them or set to 0%.
   None of that part goes to organisers or recipients of the fundraiser-
   it only goes to GoFundMe. 


When are they getting them?
    As soon as donations are done coming in


Why are they getting them?
    Because they are awesome


How much should I give?
   Whatever you like! Even the smallest amount helps the pool and is appreciated!! 


How will I know how much was given?
    Current amount raised is shown on the upper right of the screen.
    A final update will be added in the description once donations are distributed.

Is this tax deductible?
    Regrettably, no.
