SUNY Downstate Medical Center/ Kings County Hospital has about 100 Emergency Medicine residents. They have been at the front line for screening people for COVID-19, performing tests and admitting to the hospital. As cases increase, they are working tirelessly, exposing themselves and risking their own lives to make sure the community stays safe.
The Ob/Gyn residency program stands in support and admiration of our Emergency Medicine colleagues during this difficult time. We are raising money for "thank you" packages, complete with hand-written cards and words of encouragement.

Thank you everyone for sharing and contributing. We will keep this page open for donations. 100% of the proceeds will be directed toward purchase of additional supplies, such as protective goggles, disinfectant wipes, and funding for ER/ICU resident wellness (nutrition bars, bottled water, delivered meals).
