We are raising funds for our rabbit's leg amputation. Gigi is a sweet, docile, high-fashion model & to know her is to be in love with her.

Last week, Gigi suffered a fall & landed on her right femur causing the lower extremity to shatter. After multiple consultations, quotes for hospitalization and a radiograph image of the damage, we were advised to either amputate Gigi's right leg or euthanize her. It seemed like a no brainer but we knew the financial aspect of the surgery would set us back. Initially, we were quoted an estimate of $5,000. for the total cost of surgery. We knew we could not afford this & took her home with pain medication to consider other options. Gigi was so brave and patient while we searched the city for her perfect caregiver. We ended up at Avian & Exotics where they performed the surgery for our baby girl & hospitalized her as needed. After two days Gigi was able home <3. The total cost for medical expenses came out to $3,205.14. & we are asking for your help to cover those fees please!

Recovery for Gigi should take about a month or two. She is eating and taking care of herself but it will take her a short while to become accustomed to her new center of balance. One day Gigi will be able to binky, hop & even Model for big fashion campaigns again! But for now she will be taking it slow, and in the meantime she will need all the extra care she can get.
