Gil Gilreath Is Very Sick and Needs Our Help!

Hi - My name is Kellie Ellison and I am raising funds to help my co-worker, Gil Gilreath, during a time of unprecedented need. Many of you may know Gil as he has worked for Contra Costa County EHSD for 20 years – beginning his career as a Collections Enforcement Officer and working his way up to a Senior Level Clerk in Staff Development. Though struggling with a debilitating medical condition for several years, Gil came to work, pushed through, and worked hard supporting the Staff Development Division with his clerical skills – until he couldn’t. It has only been in this last year that his illness has become so severe and now terminal that he has been unable to return to work. Gil is out of leave, ineligible to retire, ineligible for Catastrophic leave, and now hurting financially – all while facing terminal illness. Unfortunately, waiting for approval with SSDI is a long and arduous process. Meanwhile bills – both for everyday living and medical expenses are piling up. Gil needs our help.
