Gill's Retirement Gift from her Anglo Family

As you know from Gill's email, she will be leaving Anglo at the end of September to enjoy her retirement. We want to send her off in style and with a lot of love from her Anglo family (we will miss her so much!) with a keepsake from DeBeers.

Gill's goodbye message:

Dear All

After 22 years at Anglo American it will soon be time for me to say farewell to you all, I will be leaving at the end of September. I joined Anglo Coal Marketing Limited (ACML) in the year 2000 under the leadership of Norman Mbazima, Tony Redman, Roger Wicks and Craig Wiggill. The lovely Lorna Hayes, Jim Smith and Graham Gallagher welcomed us to Carlton House Terrace, where we witnessed the company grow from around 150 colleagues to the 850 colleagues we now have at Charterhouse Street

In 2012 I was fortunate enough to work for the big friendly Irish man from the land of Aus - Seamus French (GMC) who left us recently to head up Laing O’Rourke, as well as Seamus I had the pleasure of supporting his team in Bulk Commodities : Brent, Nick, Julian, Ludo and George and what a pleasure that has been, upon Seamus’s departure I have had the opportunity to work for the lovely Themba Mkhwanazi (GMC), who joined us from Kumba, South Africa . What a wonderful career I have had working for these amazing leaders, Anglo is a wonderful company, whom I feel privileged to have worked for, so thank you everyone. I will truly miss everyone at Anglo and De Beers, but it’s time to say farewell as I will soon have Grandma duties to attend to I wish you all good health, happiness & great share prices for your future.
