Gilmore Family Fund

Travis Gilmore is a senior at Burnet High School. On March 11th after baseball practice he suffered a head and neck injury. Upon impact he had immediate paralysis of his lower extremities. He endured an 8 hour surgery that night to repair a C5 and C6 fracture.  Currently he lays in ICU waiting for his body to heal and the swelling to decrease so that his neurological function can be assessed. No one prepares for their high school senior to need emergency surgery, an ICU stay, or weeks/months of physical therapy. We are all praying that Travis will regain full function of his entire body. In the meantime his family is dealing with how best to care for their son while being more than an hour away from home for medical care. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated.
