Hi, my name is Maria. I’m the sister of Gina Giovangelo.

It is with great sadness to report that my sister Gina Giovangelo passed away. Together with my parents, sisters and brother we would like to honor her with a proper burial. It was unexpected… Gina battled addiction and suffered from mental illness her entire life. We had hopes as she was clean for 16 months. She was a counselor and became a supervisor recently. We were all so proud. The real Gina we all knew was a sweetheart with a zest for life and a sense of humor that could keep you laughing all day. This came as a complete and utter shock for my family. If you can find it in your heart to donate, we can give a proper wake/funeral to say goodbye. This would mean the world to my family and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We need 18,000 to bury her in the ground including a wake and a funeral.

Funeral procession is Monday 5/8/2023 @10 am @ Doane Beale & Ames in HYANNIS followed by a funeral mass at st Francis Xavier in Hyannis @ 11 am
