Gina Lupatsky’s Leg Amputation

Hi, my name is Kaitlyn Lupatsky, my beautiful mom Gina was in a terrible accident this past June, initially breaking most bones in the lower half of her body. While traveling to Geisinger in Bloomsburg where she works as a surgical technologist, she was hit head on by a man high on meth. She has since recovered very well, despite her right leg that had complications. These complications have left her unable to walk since the accident. She has undergone numerous surgeries in an attempt to save her leg, but unfortunately, my mom has made the decision to amputate the leg, below the knee. After many doctors appointments, and careful consideration, she believes she would have a better quality of life without it. And we agree.

With all that said, the past surgeries and doctors appointments over the last 5 months have added up. My parents are the most humble and genuine people I know, and they would never ask for financial help, so I am doing it for them.
