Help Gina's brother recover from debilitating injuries

Today, I come to you with a heavy heart and a deep sense of urgency. My beloved brother, Jery Mendez a 62-year-old gifted architect in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, is facing one of the hardest battles of his life. On Saturday, February 8, 2025 while playing his favorite sport, soccer—a game that has always brought him so much joy—he suffered a terrible accident that shattered multiple bones in his leg (tibia and fibula).

For years, my brother has struggled with unemployment despite his immense talent and passion for his craft. Now, this injury has not only left him in unbearable pain but also in desperate need of several surgeries to repair his leg and begin the long road to recovery.

The medical costs are overwhelming. Between doctor visits, surgeries, and rehabilitation, the financial burden is far beyond what he can manage alone. We are turning to you, our extended community, to ask for your kindness and support.
