Ginnifer and Rob's Family

Donation protected
Last September, Northern California was ravaged by a fire that burned down over 130,000 acres of land.  The Glass fire devastated Sonoma County, destroying more than 500 homes.

Rob and Ginnifer were living on some land in Sonoma County near Los Alamos road at the time.  They saw the fire coming up over the mountain.  By the time they realized it was heading their direction, they had but 30 minutes to pack up their van and get their 4 small kids and their pets out of harms way.  Today they are all safe, but are still weathering that storm.
The family friend who invited them to live on the property fell sick right before the fire, and now, after the devastation, the family owning the property is not offering the space for them to return to.  So Rob and Gin are left with no home and no property to move back to.
It has been a rough few months for the family. They were granted a two month stay in San Francisco which ran out as of December 31st. Here is the news story which publicized their brief stay in S.F.:

Rob managed to pick up some work painting for previous clients but was stopped short when the family van broke down, requiring major work and money they needed for food.

Normally there is assistance in place to help those who suffer fire damage.  Because 2020 was a record year for California Wild Fires, the magnitude of assistance needed greatly outweighed the supply.  Those who were granted assistance, received temporary housing for 18 months.  Rob and Ginnifer applied, but were turned down.  With some savings, Rob and Ginnifer have been fortunate to find a trailer big enough to accommodate the six of them and their pets, however they have run out of resources and ideas.

We are setting a goal to help provide Rob and Ginnifer rent for 18 months, food and cloths, and money to help fix Robs van. The transmission needs to be replaced completely to get the van mobile.  $45,000 would be a good number to give them a little cushion.

Let’s help get these guys back on their feet!

We need your help to restore some level of normalcy & security to their lives!  If you are able, please give.  If you have already donated or cannot afford money, please share this link with friend and family, that would help too!!

Every $1 helps. But there are many ways to help.  Of course our goal has a cash value, but we are also accepting prayers and uplifting messages.  Please try to help spread the word.  We love Rob and Ginnifer and their beautiful precious babies.

Please send all messages, prayers, and cards to [email redacted]  Thank you!

Rob and Ginnifer are being brave but they are caring for four kids and a dog.  The whole crew is currently staying in a cold leaky trailer and are down to less than a month before they are out of rent money. Its tight quarters and not at all the spacious outdoor setting they are used to.  They've got their hands full.

We can all take this as a reminder to be thankful for what we have and to take care of others in need.
